Un post assez osé aujourd'hui... sur Madonna! De mémoire de vieux fan de musique, la Madone ne nous avait pas fait un tel effet depuis la découverte de Holiday en 1983 lors de nos premiers émois en BOUM. (Dans le garage des parents de Fred) Non pas qu'elle nous ait intéressé par sa dernière tenue au Grammy Awards, encore moins par son dernier album, mais grâce à une sélection musicale nommée "Change the Beat", faite pour le magazine anglais "MOJO". Amateurs d'alternative disco, punk-funk ou rap, nous le sommes devenus, avec l'âge. Et c'est ce que nous propose la Ciccone dans cette compilation, la crème de la scène alternative new-yorkaise du début des années 80. Des artistes comme ESG, Bush Tetras, Delta, Chaz Jankel, Arthur Russel, Funkadelic tous joués dans des clubs comme le Hurrah, The Mudd Club, The Loft, Paradise Garage ou The Danceteria.
